Olympic hockey is a popular game at Olympics and has millions of fans and viewers all around the world, Olympic hockey can no doubt be considered as the most liked game among all the Olympic Games.Field hockey was first introduced at the Olympic Games in 1908 but was removed in 1924 at the Olympic in Paris because of the lack of the formal play structure and hockey again became a permanent in 1928 at the Olympic Games in Amsterdam.

Hockey demands speed, stamina and perfect hand-eye coordination, the players compete against each other for 35 minutes which is played in two halves the players play with a hard ball and a hook shape stick the field measures 91.4 meters by 55 meters,the team consists of 11 players it is one of the favourite Olympic game and it is played for 14 days in the Olympics.The 12 teams are divided into two pools of six teams, and each team will play every other team in their pool. The two best teams in each pool will qualify for the semi-finals; the winners of this match will be the Olympic Hockey champion.
